Trump Hits Back at JPMorgan CEO James Dimon

U.S. President Donald Trump left and JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon have been trading insults this

In a typically personal attack, Mr Trump tweeted that the veteran banker lacked the "aptitude or "smarts" & is a poor public speaker & nervous mess - otherwise he is wonderful".

U.S. President Donald Trump on September 13 hit back at Jamie Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan, for saying a day earlier that he was smarter than Trump and could beat him in a White House race.

Hours later, Dimon walked his comments back: "I should not have said it".

Dimon, who spoke at an event at his bank's NY headquarters, also asserted that he is "smarter" than Mr. Trump. I'm not running for President. "He could punch me all he wants, it wouldn't work with me".

Turned on from an existing Profile page, the Older version has more access to popular music videos and video games. Parents can change between "younger", "older", and "approved content only" at any time.

Dimon also suggested that his wealth was earned, and not given to him by his father - another jab at Trump, whose father, Fred, gave him US$1 million (NZ$1.5 million) in financing, millions drawn against his future inheritance and a share of his real estate holdings. "It wasn't a gift from daddy", he added. "I'm not running for president", Dimon, 62, said in a statement. Proves I wouldn't make a good politician. And this year, Dimon said the administration's policy of separating children from parents at the USA border with Mexico was cruel.

However, he still criticized Trump for the way the USA president earned his wealth. He said in January he expects to be chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase & Co for about five years.

A presidential run from Dimon would likely be welcomed on Wall Street, but it might not be met with quite so much enthusiasm in cryptocurrency circles.
