You can now share your Switch game downloads across consoles

So households with multiple Switches (or those that want to play their friend's games on their own consoles) might want to consider shelling out for the subscription.

The latest update to the Nintendo Switch Online app for iOS adds chat support for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Tennis Aces, and more.

Originally scheduled to be available tonight after 8pm PT/11pm ET/4am BST, the Nintendo Switch Online service has gone live early and allows subscribers to access the previously free online play, Nintendo Entertainment System games, cloud saves, access to special offers like the NES-style controllers, and more.

Trump visits the Carolinas after Florence
While the president's son suggested Cooper tells lies to make his father look bad, Cooper said it was Trump telling lies. North and SC both backed Trump in the 2016 election, and the president largely saw people who were happy to greet him.

As a reminder Nintendo is moving into the courageous new future that Microsoft heralded in 2002 and Sony followed up with in 2010: paid online subscriptions for consoles. There's also a family plan for $34.99 a year that includes up to eight accounts. Until today, Splatoon 2 was the only title on the list. If you deactivate the primary console, the next Switch you use to sign in to your Nintendo Account and access the Nintendo eShop becomes the primary.

After all, it looked remarkably similar to the system they'd just botched, and with the company's odd ability to always seem like they're out of touch with what modern gamers want, it was easy to worry that the Switch would arrive, crash, and burn. Well now we can all judge for ourselves as Switch online is a go this week. Nintendo breaks down this interaction in the gallery of images you see above. There's a 7-day free trial to enjoy, and the NES games alone make it well worth the money.
