‘Aladdin’ teaser trailer takes viewers to a whole new world

I'm still not fully sold on the live-action aspect, but if anyone has the budget to pull it off, it's surely Disney.

After Will Smith teased his Genie in the lamp on social media earlier this week, Disney dropped the teaser trailer of Aladdin and we're mesmerised by the short clip.

The teaser, which you can check out above, features a fair amount of wide establishing shots, which take audiences into the world of Agrabah. Aladdin is gearing up to follow in the footsteps of Beauty and the Beast and The Jungle Book, and now, fans are getting their first look at the film. Not one to disappoint, Disney has stayed true to their word and today, they've shared a mini trailer. Unfortunately, Will Smith doesn't appear as the Genie at all in this trailer, but no doubt we'll get to see him soon.

Air India flight hits wall at Trichy airport, gets diverted to Mumbai
The flight, which took off from Tiruchirappalli airport at 1.20 am, arrived in Mumbai at 5.35 am, The Times of India reported. The pilots, were reportedly unaware of the damage and reported that all systems were functioning normally.

For the animated version, the voice cast included Robin Williams, Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Cummings, and more. He captioned the post as, "LEMME OUT!??"

The film's release date of May 2019 also is listed. With nothing else to go on, I'm not sure if I'm excited for not, but I would like to see Will Smith acting all insane as the Genie. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the film stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Will Smith as the Genie and Marwan Kenzari as the villanous Jafar.
