Apple lines up another launch event, scheduled for 30th Oct

Apple pens date for expected Mac updates

A month after its annual iPhone keynote, Apple today has confirmed an upcoming October 30 event that is scheduled to be held in Brooklyn. The new Mac Mini and heavily delayed AirPower charger might also make an appearance at the event. Interestingly, the featured image on the invites that various publications have received this time seem to be different, since the invites that we've seen on social media looking nothing like the one we've received. Check them out here.

Many are expecting the iPad Pro 2018 to take an iPhone Xs-esque approach to unlocking, by dropping the home button and instead including TrueDepth cameras to allow Face ID.

Apple is expected to launch new iPads and potentially laptops at the Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York on October 30.

On its website, Apple said the event will be live streamed.

Another product that was expected at the September event was a second version of the AirPods wireless headphones. Rumors indicate that Apple could be adding a USB-C port to the iPad Pro for 4K HDR video output.

It was the first major appearance Haley has made since she announced her impending resignation last week. The ambassador poked fun a Trump's response to the recent Bob Woodward book.

It looks like Apple isn't anywhere near done with its product lineup for this year.

Apple may launch an affordable MacBook Air variant.

We will probably also see some new iMacs with updated hardware features.

The new iPad Pro most probably will keep the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes as the predecessor, but everything else will undergo changes. Apple has propped up demand with cheaper models and the more-capable iPad Pro, which works with a keyboard.

Apple released the the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max last month. A redesign is definitely due and the new MacBook Air might be announced with a higher resolution Retina display and Touch ID built-in. The new Mac mini desktop will focus on professional users.
