It's been reported that Ariana Grande is taking a break from social media following her "very sad" split from fiance Pete Davidson.

In an Instagram caption, she wrote, "Today was very special". "It's hard not to bump news [and] stuff that I'm not [trying] to see [right now]. And thank you for bein there always".

In a now deleted post talking about the TV special, she also briefly describes her feelings rn and where her heart's at, writing: "Can't believe I nearly let my anxiety ruin this for me today!"

Canelo Alvarez signs five-year, 11-fight deal with DAZN worth £278m
The historic deal marks a major change in the boxing landscape, where its biggest stars traditionally fought on pay-per-view. That deal included a total of 16 bouts each year across the USA on top of Matchroom's existing 16 fight nights in the UK.

Sharing snaps of her appearance on Instagram, Ariana is wearing a deep green lipstick, a green and white jewel necklace and diamond earrings. The outing was for a taping of NBC's "A Very Wicked Halloween".

The singer had recently written about experiencing anxiety in a former Instagram stories post; both posts follow the news that Grande and Davidson had called off their engagement after four months together as a couple. "Wouldn't miss it for the whole universe".

Davidson has yet to publicly offer a response to the dissolution of his engagement, but it appears that he also needs a rest: He was set to headline Temple University's "Comedy Night Live" tonight, but he pulled out of the event for "personal reasons", according to a press release. Kanye West subbed for her, making an infamous appearance as a singing Perrier bottle and going on a pro-President Donald Trump rant at the show's conclusion. "She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline".
