'Grimm' Spinoff in the Works at NBC

‘Grimm’ Spinoff in Development at NBC

The untitled supernatural series will have a female lead and be written by Melissa Glenn, whose credits include Marvel's Iron Fist, according to Deadline.

NBC is returning to the world of Grimm in the near future, but with a twist on the beloved fantasy/mystery series.

A spinoff of the fantasy drama series "Grimm" is now in the works at NBC, Variety has learned.

Spinning out of the events and mythology of GRIMM, sources close to the project are saying that the new show will feature a female Grimm, as well as fan favorite characters from the original series. It aired on Friday nights and developed a devoted enough fanbase to last for six seasons, which is enough to justify a potential spin-off, I guess. "I hear no actors are now attached but the idea is for offshoot to feature some original cast members, regular or recurring".

Dennis Hof, Famous 'Bunny Ranch' Brothel Owner, Dead at 72
County Commissioner John Koenig said that Hof died in his sleep at his Love Ranch South brothel, according to the Las Vegas Sun . He was most famous for being a champion of legal prostitution and owning a number of brothels throughout Nevada.

In addition to Universal TV, the new Grimm series will be brought to life by Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills Productions. Grimm showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf will serve as consulting producers.

Grimm followed Nick Burkhardt, played by David Giuntoli, a Portland, Washington, detective who was descended from a line of warriors known as Grimms. Giuntoli is now on the ABC drama "A Million Little Things". Furthermore, the spinoff will also introduce several new characters to the lore, as well as new villains, creatures, riddles, and dangers set to lurk within every dark corner of the Grimmverse.

The original Grimm series ran for six seasons across 120 episodes on NBC, ending in March of 2017. Hayes and Hazy Mills are also repped by WME.
