Oscar strengthening, forecast to become hurricane later Sunday

Subtropical Storm Oscar Bermuda Oct 27 2018 NHC

Hurricane Oscar, located in the central Atlantic, is moving westward with little change in strength, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said yesterday. The National Hurricane Center in Miami said Saturday night that the storm was centered about 930 miles east-southeast of Bermuda, and it was moving west-southwest at 20 mph.

Under the heading Hazards Affecting Land, the hurricane center said: "None".

It's the eighth hurricane this season. The Atlantic basin includes the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and the Gulf of Mexico.

The system that became Hurricane Kate formed southeast of the Bahamas on November 8, 2015, noted the WeatherBug blog.

Apple doesn't ship user guides with its products, but if you need one, you can download them for free from the Books Store. Dual SIM support has been a standard feature on Android smartphones for years, but Apple has shown resistance towards it.

A sub-tropical storm in the Atlantic was tonight upgraded to a storm.

It had 75 mph maximum sustained winds that extended outward only 15 miles. Additional strengthening is forecast during the next several days, and Oscar is expected to make a transition to a tropical storm on Sunday.

A front is still on track to push Oscar early this week and turn it quickly northeast before even reaching Bermuda.
