Pacquiao says 90 percent sure will face Broner in January

Manny Pacquiao added that he preferred to face Adrien Broner on either Jan 12 or 19 2019

"Floyd is fighting in December 31 and after that and my fight, we'll see what happens", said Pacquiao, who turns 40 on December 27 and will be armed with a 60-7-2 mark with 39 KOs by the time he answers the bell against the Cincinnati-bred and flamboyant Broner, victor of six of his last nine fights and three of his last five.

Pacquiao made the announcement when he was introduced as the latest ambassador of International Sports Promotion Society or ISPS Handa at Makati Shangrila Hotel.

According to reports, Pacquiao said Wednesday night that his planned bout against Broner, a former four-division champion, will likely take place in the USA on either January 12 or 19 next year.

"It's nearly final na".

Pacquiao said he would be fighting Broner next, either on January 12 or January 19.

"It will be on January 12 or 19, but I want it on January 12 because we will be back to work", said Pacquiao in Filipino, referring to his Senate duties. "Basta laban lang tayo".

Sure, Bosa focusing on the draft will hurt Ohio State's defense, but Urban Meyer's team still owns a 7-0 record. Nick Bosa has played his last snap as an Ohio State Buckeye, a decision that, John Bosa said, did not come easy.

Pacquiao, 39, pumped new life into his storied but slowing boxing career in July when he delivered his first knockout in nine years in a bout against Lucas Matthysse of Argentina. "Purely MP Promotion", said Pacquiao of Haymon whom he hasn't met.

Having rediscovered his knockout power, Manny Pacquiao intends to pursue an early stoppage over Adrien Broner early next year.

Last month, Mayweather, 41, claimed he is coming out of retirement and returning to the ring to fight Pacquiao in a rematch of their 2015 bout that earned both men millions.

But Pacquiao was tight-lipped when asked if another bout with the American was in the offing, only saying "it is not yet finalised".

Ahead of the fight against big-punching Matthysse, Pacquiao said he considered himself the "underdog", but he rolled back the years in the July bout.

It was his 60th win of a fabled 23-year career that will now nearly certainly extend beyond his 40th birthday in December.
