Pixel 3 includes USB-C headphones, dongle in the box

Pixel 3 XL hands

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL phones offer significant upgrades to prior models by adding a almost edge-to-edge screen on the larger model, more display area on both phones, faster processors and an improved camera.

A Google Pixel 3 smartphone is photographed in New York, Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018.

Google branched into hardware three years ago so that, like Apple, it could have full control of the performance of its applications and the revenue they generate.

Google also launched a $79 Pixel Stand, which will let you charge your Pixel 3 wirelessly, and can also turn it into a smart display.

There's also a lot of neat software exclusive to the Pixel 3 like Top Shot, Night Sight, Super-Res Zoom, and more.

At its Made by Google event in NY a few hours ago, the Palo Alto giant unveiled its latest flagship smartphones, featuring the best of the company's AI and imaging technologies.

The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be the first Pixel phones to launch in France at the same time as the US, FrAndroid explains. But the experience itself isn't the only thing that's so great about Android on Google's new Pixel phones. It will also warn you if someone blinked or if the shot is otherwise poor. They're not uncommon, with many modern handsets sporting one.

The phones will be available for sale from November 1 via online and retail stores. Instead, Google uses software to mimic that effect.

Kids Who Use Hand Sanitizer Miss Fewer Days of Day Care
As we know, children of this age group are likely to spread germs when they deal with runny noses, sore throats, and coughing. The hand sanitizer group missed 3.25% of days of day care, followed by the soap and water group, which missed 3.9% of days.

Users can also add animated stickers to photos that imitate the expressions of the subject.

Whatever the caller says in response will appear as a voice-to-text translation on the phone screen. However, the latter feature won't launch until later this year. I'll test the Google Pixel 3 to see if it can knock the Note 9 out, but the iPhone XS Max couldn't. "It's mostly about convenience here". And Google has priced it at just $149 along with a 6-month free subscription to YouTube Premium. Google has sold an estimated 7 million Pixels over the past two years, nearly imperceptible next to the 3.6 billion phones shipped during that time, according to the research firm International Data Corp.

Although rumours are now swirling about the Google Pixel Slate, nothing has been officially confirmed by the tech company.

Google's new Pixel phones mirror the industry trend moving the devices toward lusher, bigger screens and add new twists on the camera for taking better selfies and other pictures. Oh, and there's a fingerprint scanner on the side in the power button that utilizes Google's new Titan security chip.

The RAM remains 4GB, a reaffirmation from Google that you don't need more than that to run Android (Pure Android).

The Google Home Hub is the prime competitor of Amazon's Echo Show. They look like nice devices, but Google's pricing is getting a little out of hand. Home Hub is launching in the United States, the U.K. and Australia.

Pixel phones, though, have been a tougher sell, launching with glitches and garnering less than 1 percent of the global market by shipments in Google's first two years of trying, according to research firm Strategy Analytics.
