UN Ambassador Haley resigning; she gives no reason

View of the Bank of Israel

When she stepped down Tuesday as US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley became one of the only senior staff members to walk away from the White House with her reputation largely intact. The former SC governor, 49, announced her decision on October 9 after meeting with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

He told reporters in the Oval Office that she would be leaving the post at the end of the year after doing "an incredible job". He added that she will stay on through the end of the year.

"I think if you look at the anti-Israel bias and the strength that the president showed on the embassy; we will put the embassy where we want to put the embassy". Maybe a different capacity. She said she would be supporting Trump.

"Before she was named by Trump to her United Nations post, Haley was elected the first female governor of SC". When asked specifically if he's going to run in 2020, Kerry gave pretty much the answer you'd expect from a guy who is seriously considering it, saying he hasn't "eliminated anything in my life". During Trump's presidential campaign, she sharply criticized his demeanor and warned what it might mean for US diplomacy - even suggesting that his tendency to lash out at critics could cause a world war. Thank you for representing the values common to Israel and the United States.

"Countries may not like what we do, but they respect what we do", she said. "We will miss you... you've done a fantastic job", Trump said in warm words that clearly showed there was no animus between them.

Lawsuit: Steelers' Antonio Brown almost hit toddler in furniture-throwing rage
Sternberg claims that his daughter now shows "symptoms of fear and anxiety" and is "having night tremors every night". Cops found the women who said they had been hired and authorized by someone claiming to be Brown's representative.

Even so, Haley has been a strong advocate of Trump's foreign policy. Also her staff, who did not get the news until this morning, according to Axios, which first reported Haley's exit.

It's the latest shake-up in the turbulent Trump administration just weeks before the November midterm election. Those flights were between New York, Washington, DC, and three cities in her home state of SC, and appear to have been worth tens of thousands of dollars to her.

She called the president's son-in-law and senior White House adviser, Jared Kushner, a "hidden genius", in particular praising his foreign policy work: "The Middle East peace plan is so unbelievably well done", she said. She and Trump have never butted heads, at least publicly, though there has been friction - she once said that his sexual assault accusers should be heard out. Marco Rubio when she left the race.

The Trump administration has had a high level of turnover in its first couple of years - something that did not go unnoticed with the news of Haley's impending departure.

Haley has worked as US Ambassador to the United Nations since Trump's inauguration since January 2017, and is one of the longest-serving members of his administration.
