Witches Gather To Hex Kavanaugh [Satire — KLAVAN

Brett Kavanaugh protest: WITCHES to place HEX on Supreme Court judge

The message concluded: "Yeah, Kavanaugh - I don't think so".

The man, Ronald DeRisi, left more than 10 threatening and "expletive-laced" voicemails for the two senators beginning September 27, according to the complaint unsealed Friday by prosecutors in the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of NY.

"It's a 9 mm", he said, according to the complaint.

Two of the threatening voicemails were left for a Senator on September 27, the same day that Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who came forward to accuse the now Supreme Court Justice of sexually assaulting her while they were teens, testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. 9 millimeter, side of the f***ing head! If [expletive] Kavanaugh gets in, he's dead [expletive] meat. Actually, even if Kavanaugh doesn't get in, he's dead f-ing meat! "Nine millimeter, side of the head, you f-ing old bastard!"

It was the closest Supreme Court nomination vote in more than a hundred years.

But Assistant U.S. Attorney Justina Geraci said DeRisi used a pre-paid cellphone, fake name and other strategies to mask his identity.

In one of those messages, police said, Derisi referred to Kavanaugh as a sex offender and warned, "I'm gonna get you", according to the criminal complaint.

Thousands of Hondurans in U.S.-bound migrant caravan head into Mexico
She clutched her 2-year-old daughter Dayani, who had recently had a heart operation, as she got off a raft. He took to Twitter to blame the courts for "asking the United States to do things that are not doable".

And, in 2011, Derisi was arrested for cutting the cables of a disputed Metro PCS cell phone tower that had sprung up near a gated community of townhouses, according to CBS New York.

Ronald Derisi, of Smithtown, was scheduled to appear Friday at a federal court on Long Island.

"Representative democracy can not work if elected officials are threatened with death for simply doing their job", Richard Donoghue, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of NY, said in a statement.

"The First Amendment - the pinnacle of American achievement - protects debate, disagreement and dissent, not death threats".

The charges against DeRisi highlight a spate of illegal political threats that have emerged from opponents of Kavanaugh's contentious confirmation.

But Kavanaugh vehemently denied the incident happened, as well as other allegations of sexual misconduct that arose about his past.

Ms Ford alleges Mr Kavanaugh drunkenly attempted to rape her while his friend, Mark Judge, stood by and watched during a 1982 gathering.
