Beat Saber PSVR Release Date Announced Along With New Content

Beat Saber Chops PSVR with Exclusive New Content on 20th November

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the Beat Saber Trophies. You can play the game now on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift & WMR headsets.

While it's an end-of-year release, I have a feeling this will climb the PSVR sale charts and sit alongside Firewall Zero Hour, Job Simulator, and Superhot VR. And especially this month, which already has the fantastic VR-enabled Tetris Effect on its way today.

Beat Saber will be hitting the PSVR in just 12 days on November 20th, and it's bringing a bunch of new content with it including a "challenging campaign", exclusive new songs, and a ton of modifiers to make the game more challenging.

A challenging campaign - Improve your game style every day by completing levels in our complex campaign, exclusively created for PS VR. Shortly after launch, an expansion pack with 10 songs will be released.

Japan's Toshiba to pull out of United Kingdom nuclear power project
It followed a discussion of Toshiba's board in Tokyo, and an official announcement was made in the early hours. Nuclear energy isn't just dirty and risky , this announcement shows once again it's not economically viable.

Stop what you are doing because we finally have THAT release date! Watch them glow and slash the cubes with style! A practice mode is being introduced, which will allow players to slow the game down, and start at any part of a level to help practice tricky parts. It will also include a Practice Mode so new players can get the hang of things.

The additional songs is a particularly interesting point.

Beat Saber became a bit of a viral phenomenon thanks to its gameplay gimmick. But Sony will need to find a creative way around Beat Saber's best community feature if they choose not to support it at all.
