Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie face custody trial

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Both Jolie's and Pitt's legal teams have apparently submitted documents requesting the Los Angeles Superior court to allow them to finalize their divorce and custody cases by trial by June 2019.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's bitter custody battle is about to get nastier.

Evaluations for the children have already begun, and the judge will rely heavily on their findings in his ruling over custody.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce and custody proceedings are not the most relaxed separation happening in Hollywood right now.

Journo group slams White House suspension of CNN reporter
The president then tried to move onto another reporter as Acosta began to ask him about the Russian Federation investigation. The reporter challenged Mr Trump on his characterisation of the South American migrant caravan as an "invasion".

According to TMZ, Angelina wants full custody of the children, while Brad wants joint custody. Brad's legal team isn't too anxious about that, though, seeing that the actor was never criminally charged with anything.

Financial disputes will be resolved separately. In fact, Angelina Jolie's camp accused Brad Pitt of not providing "meaningful" child support.

The private judge will also have to handle the former couple's property settlement, given they don't have a prenup. The judge outlined specific steps Jolie had to take to aid Pitt's access to and relationship with the children, including a detailed summer visitation schedule, and easy phone access between Pitt and each of the kids, without monitoring or interference from their mom.

But days later, the Fight Club star argued he had "loaned" his estranged wife $8 million to help her purchase her current house and contributed over $1.3 million "in bills for the benefit of [Jolie] and the minor children". Follow Yahoo Lifestyle on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
