Feleipe Franks shushes home crowd after touchdown run

When players shush a crowd, it's usually the opponents rather than the home crowd.

He'd heard the booing from fans in the team's loss to Missouri a week ago.

During Florida's game against South Carolina, Feleipe Franks had to silence the doubters on his home field. But Franks, who expected to be booed entering the game, did it the other way around. Lots of people are going to like me and lots of people aren't going to like me.

Franks shushed the crowd after his first touchdown rush and again after diving for the winning score in No. 19 UF's 35-31 victory over SC (and former Gators coach Will Muschamp). After getting stopped just shy of the goal line on third down, Franks took the snap and dove in for the game victor with 4:09 left. Lamical Perine added 107 yards and two scores on the ground.

His first halves against the Aggies and Vols were terrible: Bentley combined to go 9 for 25 passing for 67 yards, two interceptions and zero TDs.

The Gamecocks erased a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter at MS to win consecutive games for the first time in 2018. "I've been here before", Mullen said.

The Florida crowd got going after the score, having had nothing to cheer for before then.

The Gamecocks quickly marched down the field on back-to-back scoring drives to open the game. He ran through a SC defender at the 3 and kept pushing until he crossed the goal line, when another opponent stood him up.

Ice Cube takes aim at Trump with 'Arrest the President'
The rapper previously teased this single of the heated USA midterm day with a video that very much just targeted Trump. He teased the new track before the heated U.S. midterms and asked people to get out and vote.

The Gators ended up with 367 yards rushing.

Bentley's next drive? Same result, this time finding Kyle Markway to put SC up 14-0.

The Gamecocks recent success coincided with a more effective run game.

Coach Dan Mullen sounded unconcerned about the injuries on Monday, when he said, "We've got a bunch of guys banged up and battered, but on the training report there's nothing that should prevent anybody (from playing)". "Our backs were running hard".

"We're still not where we want to be", said right guard Sadarius Hutcherson, a sophomore. Florida finished with 528 yards of total offense.

"You can't ever let yourself get down", Bentley said.

Hutcherson said there was no panic or finger pointing during the team's bye week, which followed a disappointing loss to Texas A&M where the Gamecocks fell behind 16-0 and fell 26-23 despite a second-half rally. On two of South Carolina's final three possessions of the game, five of the seven running plays were RPOs on which Bentley chose the running play because of the number of players the Gators had devoted to stop the passing game.
