And despite Emily pleading with I'm A Celebrity bosses for her very own Tarzan, Kate ruled out a romance for her desperate daughter.

Dec has hosted the show alongside his presenting bestie Ant McPartlin since 2002 and admitted: "It's so nice seeing it through everybody's eyes at well, I mean I've been here a long time".

Although the presenter has Holly Willoughby to keep him company on I'm a Celeb this season, recent reports claimed that Dec wants to go solo with his career.

"Good morning, good evening, and welcome to Australia where the more eagle-eyed viewers among you would have already noticed a big change to this year's show, yes, one of the most gorgeous presenters on British television... has been joined by Holly Willoughby!".

"Like you watch this on telly, it's been part of my life for years and suddenly you're here".

Sunday's first episode of I'm a Celebrity saw the ten celebrities - including John Barrowman, Emily Atack and Harry Redknapp - enter the jungle in two camps, with former Inbetweeners star Emily chosen to take part in the first Bushtucker Trial.

Holly added: "It's so lovely, there was no one in at that point, there was no chaos of the celebrities, it was just peaceful, it was sort of magical".
