New Mazda3 teased again: hatch and sedan to debut in LA…

Mazda teases its all-new 3 ahead of Los Angeles debut

The Japanese brand says its new Mazda3 marks the beginning of a "whole new generation" of cars.

Judging by the teaser image released with the announcement it's safe to say that both the sedan and hatchback versions of the model will be shown.

In recent times, Mazda has created some stunning production and concept cars including the Kai, Vision Coupe and updated 6. One change we notice is the rear window drops down sharply unlike on the old model, where it comes to a gradual point.

Mazda's latest press release mentions Skyactiv engines, but there's no word yet on whether the revolutionary new Skyactiv-X petrol engine will be offered.

The automaker confirms that the next Mazda3 will sit on the Skyactiv Vehicle Architecture, which should improve driving dynamics.

Turkey scores high in antibiotic resistance amid superbug concerns
The report says while average resistance growth seems to be slowing down, there was serious causes for concern. In low and middle-income countries, drug resistance is high and projected to grow rapidly.

The CX-5 will feature the 2.5-litre turbo engine from the CX-9 and Mazda6, which means a bump in horsepower to 250; and a healthy helping of torque, some 310 lb-ft to be precise.

Mazda has confirmed that it'll be pulling the covers off its all-new Mazda3 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens on November 28.

A new engine for the Mazda3 will use spark plugs to initiate compression ignition.
