First Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Rides Unveiled in Disney Parks Sneak Peek Video

There's no need to even wait for the Star Wars-themed Galaxy's Edge land to open next year at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. It also announced that composer John Williams, creator of the classic "Star Wars" themes, is writing new music for the "Galaxy's Edge" attractions, and shared a sneak preview.

As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Williams' involvement offers a more direct connection to the movies' history, and will be a fun layer for the attractions.

The Black Spire village is envisioned as a remote trading outpost.

Millennium Falcon: Smugger's Run is one of the two Star Wars attractions which had its name revealed Saturday. But if you want a taste of what to expect - besides knowing that you'll be able to get hammered in the Star Wars cantina - Disney has released a very brief clip of one of its attractions, called Rise of the Resistance.

The parks will open at Disneyland in Summer 2019 and Disney World in Fall 2019.
