2.0 box-office collection day 7: This is Rajinikanth’s highest grossing Hindi film

Rajinikanth Akshay Kumar's 2.0 crosses Rs 500 crore mark worldwide

The film which has garnered end number of praises and love from their audience will enter the Rs 1000 crore club if it continues to earn good digits as the box office. The film, which hit screens on November 29, has touched the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide within seven days of its release.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter. "500 crores worldwide. We at Dharma Movies are so proud to be associated with the Hindi version of this movie marvel".

According to a report in Boxofficeindia.com, the Hindi version of the film collected around Rs 9.50 crore which takes it first week total to Rs 129.75 crore. The movie casts Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and K. Ganesh. They have already inked a deal with HY Media and planning to release the film in more than 10,000 theaters in May 2019.

A box office PHENOMENA! The project is backed by the strong technical contributions of music director A.R. Rahman, production designer T. Muthuraj, cinematographer Nirav Shah, VFX Supervisor Sreenivasan and editor Antony among others. The film, directed by Shankar, has had huge expectations among fans since "2.0" is a sequel to the blockbuster sci-fi thriller "Enthiran", which released in 2010.
