Far Cry goes post-apocalyptic in next game
			Dominic Tarason Contributor 5th December:54

It's basically the gaming world's equivalent of the Golden Globes, if the Golden Globes were occasionally sponsored by Dorito's, or undrinkable new flavors of Mountain Dew. Plus, The Game Awards' Geoff Keighley basically confirmed as much in a response to someone on Twitter.

Just a few moments ago, the publisher released a new teaser trailer for what seems to be a new Far Cry game entirely.

Something to look forward to: Fans of Ubisoft's Far Cry series will be pleased to hear that the company is already working on the franchise's latest entry, and it could be fully revealed at The Game Awards tomorrow.

Will it be a full-blown game, though?

Grace Millane's family claims new evidence in missing person case
Ms Millane left the United Kingdom six weeks ago to travel the world after finishing university. Det Insp Scott Beard, of Auckland City Police, said more than 20 staff were working on the case.

It starts out on a shot of a barn, which somewhat resembles the rural American setting of this year's Far Cry 5.

It's being speculated based on the visual effects as well as thumbnail above that this game would be set in a post apocalyptic Hope County. Ubisoft call it "a new Far Cry game" but it's not yet clear whether it will be a direct sequel, a spin-off, or what.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow night! In the meantime: did you play Far Cry 5?

There's no information about the game other than the a brief tease for its appearance during "The Game Awards", not even a name to go by.
