Samsung Galaxy A8S smartphone gets WiFi certification

Verizon, Samsung promise 5G smartphone for next year

The company has posted a poster revealing the launch date on the official Weibo account of Samsung mobile. Also, the front will have just one camera, which is obvious since there will be a single hole in the Infinity-O Display as compared to the alleged CAD renders of the Galaxy S10 Plus that surfaced yesterday.

U.S. telecom carrier Verizon and Samsung have announced to jointly launch one of the first commercial 5G smartphones in the U.S. in the first half of 2019. Previously, it was expected that the Galaxy A8s would launch in January, leaving Huawei in the clear to launch the Nova 4 in December. A tiny notch in one corner of the screen for the Huawei Nova 4.

The Nova 4 is set to feature a notch-less display notably with the front camera being placed on the upper left side of the display. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Anthony Joshua Wants Deontay Wilder Or Tyson Fury Fight
If Fury were to fight Joshua on April 13, his chances of success are rated better than Wilder's. The 30-year-old Fury said: "Everybody said Ben couldn't do it and he'd fold under pressure".

The 2 manufacturers also raced to put more cameras on the rear. The photo shows the front panel of the handset and it seemingly confirms the inclusion of an Infinity O display that has a cutout for the front-facing camera.

Its getting closer – the Huawei nova 4 will be unveiled on December 17, but has been spotted in the wild several times already. A 3,400mAh non-removable battery is also rumored, and it will be interesting to see what version of Android will ship on the phone, will it be Android 8.1 Oreo, or Android 9 Pie with Samsung's all-new One UI skin. With a small hole at the corner, this approach offers a less obstructive full-screen experience compared to a notched display, especially while playing videos. The phone will have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy A8s is slated for an early January release in China. On the back, it will house a triple camera setup- 24MP primary sensor, 10MP wide-angle sensor, 5MP depth sensor to produce good quality images.
