Speaker Ryan Announces When George Bush Will Lie in State

In the wake of the passing of former president George H.W. Bush (41) on Friday, President Donald Trump (45) has announced that federal agencies will be closed on December 5.

In honor of the 41st president, President Trump has declared Wednesday a national day of mourning, the White House said, and issued an executive order to close federal offices. "It will then be reset and it will be sent to Houston to pick up the casket of President Bush and it will be sent back to Washington", Trump said, according to the report.

As is customary for former Presidents, Bush will be honored with a state funeral - a series of events that will last at least a week and take place in both Texas and the nation's capitol.

The former president passed away on Friday night at 10:10 p.m. his spokesperson Jim McGrath confirmed.
