Davies slammed a record-setting double century against Northern Territory, including a flawless six sixes from one over.

NSW Metro captain Ollie Davies has created history at the national under-19 cricket championships by slamming a record-setting double century against Northern Territory, including a flawless six sixes from one over.

He hit 17 sixes and 14 fours during his record-breaking double century, and also achieved the unbelievable feat of hitting six sixes in an over, which came off the bowling of off-spinner Jack James.

Oliver Davies' knock was also the first One-Day double century ever in the U19 competition and also the first across all the formats since 2001-02 when Jason Krejza had breached the mark for the first time.

His first century came off 74 deliveries, and his second off just 39 balls.

BBC scraps plans for Brexit TV debate between May and Corbyn
The BBC has contacted both the Labour and Conservative Party for comment. But the BBC confirmed it "could not reach an agreement" on its proposal.

Davies displayed the best of the fireworks in the 40th over when he lifted each ball of an over by off-spinner Jack James across the boundary rope. He also managed to score a historic double century.

"It was fantastic to get out there and hit the ball so cleanly in the first game".

After achieving one of the rarest feats in the history of cricket, NSW Metro's captain said, "After the first two sixes I had it in the back of my head I wanted to give it a crack, and it paid off at the end".

"I was just trying to target forward of square and cow corner". He finished with a stunning 207 off just 115 balls.

His team went on to post 406/4 and won the match by 168 runs. In worldwide cricket, the record for most sixes in an ODI is 16, shared between Rohit Sharma, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle.
