Billie Eilish has released a new song inspired by Alfonso Cuarón's 'Roma'

The song is out now worldwide via Darkroom/Interscope Records, ahead of the release of a full-length Music Inspired By Roma album via Sony Music Masterworks.

Here's something weird! Billie Eilish is a 17-year-old pop singer with weirdo aspirations and with a massive online fanbase. Billie Eilish and her collaborative brother Finneas have proven to be talented beyond their years.

It seems Billie Eilish likes to stay on trend. Alfonso Cuarón, 57-year-old Oscar-winning director of Gravity, Children of Men, and the highly celebrated new Netflix film Roma, is already having a great year, having won two Golden Globes on Sunday night. The line "When I was older I used to be a sailor, but I drowned in a storm", spoken by Pepe (played by Marco Graf), inspired the siblings to write the song and give it its title. The chorus has the ocean sounds overplayed on it.

Roma is now streaming on Netflix. "Nothing about this song would exist without the film, which is exactly what we love about it".

Japanese Fighter Thrashed by Mayweather Names Condition for Bout With McGregor
Unsurprisingly, it did not take Tenshin Nasukawa long to respond to this lucrative suggestion from McGregor. Many believe that the fight was fixed as Nasukawa was dropped multiple times and left the arena crying.

Listen to the mesmerizing "When I Was Older" below.

It establishes not just that Eilish can drum up some impressive, preternatural spookiness for a teen star, but that Cuarón has some skills of his own as a music supervisor, even at the point of post-post-post-production.

Billie Eilish released her debut EP, Don't Smile at Me, in August of 2017, as she has already accumulated more than 132 million streams on Spotify.
