Burnley boss Dyche denies offer for Liverpool target Tarkowski

Liverpool Told To Shell Out Eye-Popping £50m For Premier League Defender

It was revealed that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is not willing to lose any member of his squad in the midst of an injury crisis defensively.

Liverpool have made a surprise approach to sign James Tarkowski on an initial loan deal but Burnley will only consider selling on a permanent basis if £50m is put on the table, according to reports via the Metro.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has some puzzling to do in the next couple of weeks with Joe Gomez (broken leg) and Joel Matip (fractured collarbone) already out with injuries.

"I'm not suggesting it's rubbish, I'm suggesting it's a new one on me", Dyche said of the Tarkowski rumours ahead of Saturday's game against Fulham in the Premier League.

The teenager is eligible to sign his first professional deal on his 17 birthday in just over a week's time, and there is a feeling around Anfield that he could be one of the most impressive young players to emerge in recent years.

China envoy accuses Canada of 'double standards' over Huawei arrest
With Meng's arrest in Vancouver in December, the relation between China and Canada are already strained. Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor remain in custody and have had scant access to Canadian authorities.

Tarkowski is not the only Burnley player reportedly attracting interest with each of the club's three goalkeepers variously mentioned in transfer and loan talk.

Though now apparently third choice, Dyche insisted 31-year-old Hart is not upset by the sudden change in circumstances.

Dyche told BBC Sport on Thursday: "Changing the keeper is a risk/reward situation and Tom has done well, but that doesn't mean Joe is not a top keeper, which he is". He's accepted the change and we move on.

Regarding the Hart links, the former Watford boss added: "We haven't had any enquiries, for anyone by the way - because there are other odd stories knocking around, freaky ones".
