Gwyneth Paltrow's ex-husband Chris Martin joined her on 'very modern honeymoon'

Gwyneth Paltrow Tacitly Endorses Butt Stuff & Mocks Chris Martin At Same Time

The Oscar-winning actress, who married film producer Brad Falchuk on September 29 in the Hamptons, jetted off to Italy with her new husband immediately after the wedding.

"We just took our honeymoon in the Maldives", she said on USA morning show Live with Kelly and Ryan on Wednesday. So (it was) my new husband, his children, my children, my ex-husband, our best family friends.

Speaking on U.S. talk show Live With Kelly And Ryan, Paltrow called it "a very modern honeymoon".

Check out all that Gwyneth had to say in the video below...

The show's co-host Kelly Ripa then asked: "Wait, your ex-husband went on your honeymoon?", to which she replied: "I mean, yeah, pretty much".

Despite their split in 2014, Gwyneth and Chris were able to have a "great conversation" on her honeymoon.

Tim Tebow Is Engaged to Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters
The couple's inner circle then had dinner at a Jacksonville club, while family and friends made speeches and toasts. Looks like Tim Tebow has a new reason to get down on one knee! "Demi Leigh Nel-Peters, I love you", he said.

"It was just really special", added Paltrow, who appeared on "GMA" to promote her fourth cookbook, "The Clean Plate: Eat, Reset, Heal."

The 46-year-old star said that the aim was to "minimise the pain" for their kids, as they wanted to be with both their parents.

A source said: "They're a total modern family and had a great time celebrating together".

Gwyneth keeps images of her kids to a minimum on her social media and rarely steps out with them in public.

"I think Chris and I are very like-minded and that we really were disappointed that our marriage wasn't going to work, and we weren't going to have the thing where you're married to the parent of your children for the rest of your lives", she said on the Goop podcast past year. With teenage kids, you've got to tread lightly. "I don't know how to do it".
