Kate Beckinsale Had the Perfect Comeback For Those Pete Davidson Rumors

Kate Beckinsale Pete Davidson

Banter queen Kate Beckinsale was never going to give a serious response to the rumours she's dating Pete Davidson now was she?

Unfortunately for fans, however, she did so in a manner that was hardly direct. Rumor has it that this past Sunday while at the Golden Globes after-party, Kate and Pete got along quite well. While some reports claimed the two left the event in tandem, an unnamed source told People they exited separately.

"Not Pete Davidson", one user commented on Beckinsale's black-and-white photo of her mother, actress Judy Loe.

Reportedly, she and Pete were talking for the majority of the night and were supposedly even seen together cuddling. "They were outside on the patio and left together".

Beckinsale didn't confirm those rumors, but she did give a sassy response to a fan on Instagram who commented on her recent post about the "Saturday Night Live" star. "Easy mistake", Beckinsale responded to the fan.

ABC Wants The Avengers Presenting Oscars During 2019 Ceremony /Film
There had been rumours as to who might take his place, but on Wednesday night, Variety reported that for the first time since 1989, the Oscars ceremony will go ahead without a host.

She's sparked rumours of a fling with Pete Davidson after the pair were spotted leaving a Golden Globes party together earlier this week.

Pete attended the awards ceremony with his good friend Machine Gun Kelly.

"They were flirting all night and sipping champagne", someone told Page Six.

Both are single, with Davidson famously ending his engagement to Ariana Grande last year and Beckinsale, who has a 19-year-old daughter with ex-partner Michael Sheen, was last linked to model Matt Rife and British comedian Jack Whitehall. Since then, concerns have grown for Pete's mental health after he posted a worrying message on social media that he "doesn't want to be on this earth anymore".
