Sarah Thomas keeps making history.

Sarah Thomas will work the Los Angeles Chargers-New England Patriots divisional round game on Sunday, joining Ron Torbert's crew in Foxborough, to become the first female referee to officiate a playoff game in league history.

Today's game will feature the first female referee in National Football League postseason history. "Field presence is what they talk about", she said in an interview with SB Nation.

Russia: There’re no talks on setting up spy swap involving Paul Whelan
Russian Federation has still not provided any details of the charge against Whelan. He noted, however, that Whelan could only be traded once he has been convicted.

This will be a special moment for Thomas, a Brandon, Mississippi resident with three children, and a monumental postseason game for the entire NFL. "If I have a ponytail, you know, then I separate myself immediately".

"I would love for girls growing up in this country to believe that if they love the sport as much as I do, that they could be a part of it", she told People.

"History will be made during today's Chargers-Patriots Divisional Playoff". She had already become the first woman to officiate a major college football game, the first to officiate in a Big Ten Conference stadium, and the first to officiate a bowl game.

The two players will also be making their own history on Sunday as the oldest starting quarterbacks in a playoff game ever, with a combined 78 years between them.
