Apple AirPods 2 will look the same
A new report, citing trusted sources, has now revealed some information about the two Apple products but as always, we advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.
AirPods 2 will offer better bass response when compared to the current generation AirPods.
According to an inside source, the new AirPods 2 will look nearly identical to their predecessors but will carry some under-the-hood changes like better bass response and will include additional health-related tech such as a heart rate sensor. The new version are covered in a grip coating that's being described as similar to the coating on the back of Google's Pixel 3 $799.00 at Google smartphone.
The report from My Smart Price also claimed that the long-awaited AirPower wireless charging mat would finally be released in the next few months, alongside a "wireless charging case for the first-generation AirPods".
Mountains Sounds cancels, blames NSW government's "war on festivals"
It was strongly indicated to us that we were not going to be granted the necessary approvals required for the 2019 event to proceed next weekend".
We are also expecting some type of health sensor and features while battery life is thought to be nearly exactly the same.
As for the price, the AirPods 2 will reportedly cost $199 but it is unclear whether this price is mere speculation or comes from a reliable source.
We already knew that AirPods 2 would be coming soon, but now we've heard new rumours that they'll launch alongside the much-delayed AirPower charging mat in the Spring. Apart from that, the report also corroborates previous leaks that alleged that the upcoming AirPods will come with health monitoring features such as heart-rate monitoring and that the battery life wouldn't really improve a lot. Apple will also debut some exclusive AirPower-only features but that will debut with iOS 13. That all sounds great, but there is one downside, and as this is Apple you can probably guess what that is.
There's a suggestion that the AirPower wireless charging pad is set to arrive this year, too, but we won't hold our breath for it ever appearing from Apple's R&D labs at this point. Tell us your thoughts down in the comments.
