British pop star Dua Lipa wins Grammy for Best New Artist

Dua Lipa’s Grammys Look Is Just as Electric as Her Nominated Single

However, even in her overwhelmed state, she still managed to throw a bit of shade at Grammys boss Neil Portnow, after his comments about female artists, in the wake of last year's male-heavy show. While Dua Lipa may not feel super new to us (I'm sorry, where was her Grammy for "IDGAF"?!), she's technically a new artist.

Lipa continued, "For anyone who hasn't realized how special they are to have a different story or background, just know that no matter where you're from, never let that get in the way of your dreams". In 2018, the singer attended the Grammys after party in a handsome white dress, but this year, we got to witness what she brings to the actual Grammys red carpet.

'I want to say a really big thank you to my fans who've allowed me to be the best version of myself'.

PSG serve Solskjaer a stark lesson
Matters turned from bad to worse, though, when Paul Pogba picked up a second yellow card late into the match. When you play at home and you can not keep the ball, you're always in trouble and that's what happened.

After winning two awards at the 2019 GRAMMYs, Dua Lipa subtly outed Neil Portnow, the president of the Recording Academy.

As Lipa went backstage after her Grammy win, she took the time to clarify her "stepped up" comments.

"Being in the New Artist category and having so many female artists nominated is a big change. It felt right to be able to do that because they were artists I love and admire and I'm so honored to be able to share that moment with them".
