Raptors sign Canadian Chris Boucher to standard contract

Chris Boucher, Malcolm Miller and the Toronto Raptors have agreed to a standard National Basketball Association contracts, the team announced Sunday.

Boucher and Miller were previously playing on two-way player contracts and have spent time with the Raptors' G-League affiliate. While the term wasn't disclosed, it is reported to be a multi-year contract, according to Blake Murphy of The Athletic.

The Toronto Raptors continue to fill out their roster. The Saint Lucia native, who moved to Montreal when he was just five months old, has been one of the Raptors 905's best players in 2018-19, averaging 27.6 points, 11.1 rebounds and four blocks in 33.5 minutes per game. Toronto must have 14 players on the senior roster by February 24 and it's possible they delay signing more players from here for tax purposes. Per TSN's Josh Lewenberg, Toronto has until the end of the All-Star break to fill two of its three open roster slots. He rehabbed with Raptors 905 and made his season debut after missing the first 28 games of the season. Miller sustained the injury while playing for the Raptors' entry at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Boucher is averaging 3.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 5.6 minutes in 16 games with the Raptors this season.
