Cardi B Nabs First Movie Role in 'Hustlers' Alongside JLo & Constance Wu

Cardi B

Earlier today we brought you some news on the cast of the upcoming stripper drama Hustlers, and now we have word that R&B singer Usher has also signed on to appear in the film, which is set to begin production this week.

Cardi B joins the cast alongside Jennifer Lopez, KeKe Palmer, Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart, Julia Stiles, and Oscar-winner Mercedes Ruehl. The film announced Nuyorican star Jennifer Lopez as the lead previous year, adding Constance Wu to the mix and making it official at Berlin's European Film Market.

Cardi B is about to head to the big screen. The new film, inspired by a 2016 NY magazine article, is a revenge tale about strip-club dancers and employees who join forces and scheme against their Wall Street clients.

Interestingly enough, the plot of the movie is largely inspired by a viral New York Magazine article that detailed the true story of how a group of women conned the men they once serviced.
