Despite the popular opinion that Clinton-Dix's play deteriorated after the trade to the Redskins a year ago, his Pro Football Focus grade of 79.3 was actually the best of his career, and 17th-best among safeties in the NFL.

Star safeties like Landon Collins and Tyrann Mathieu signed on the first day, while Earl Thomas needed just one extra day to make his decision. Now, another huge name is off the safety market. The Bears are adding safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in free agency, NFL Network reported on Thursday afternoon.

Chicago had a hole at safety after Adrian Amos left the Bears in free agency for the Green Bay Packers. Amos signed a four-year deal worth $37 million in Green Bay.

Clinton-Dix was a Pro Bowler in 2016. Formerly of the #Redskins and #Packers, he gets a new home in Chicago.

USA linked to North Korea embassy raid in Spain
Minutes later, the man and the other attackers sped away from the embassy at full speed in two North Korean diplomatic vehicles. If there is however a proven link with intelligence services, it could cause uproar both in North Korea and internationally.

Clinton-Dix spent just nine games with the Redskins following a major trade deadline move, acquiring him from the Green Bay Packers.

The 2014 first-round pick (21st overall) once had a streak of 2,033 consecutive defensive plays on the field while with the Packers.

In 84 career games, Clinton-Dix has recorded 456 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 14 interceptions.

The former Alabama star was drafted by the Packers in the first round of the 2014 National Football League draft and spent five seasons in the NFC North.
