Horner: Red Bull still way off competing with Mercedes and Ferrari

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff

Mercedes have admitted that they expect to be "pushed to their limits" by Ferrari this year after their rivals emerged from pre-season testing with the quickest vehicle.

Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says the Ferrari threat is very real.

Neither team has accepted the other is ahead going into the Australian Grand Prix.

"Judging from the performance in Barcelona (testing), it looks like we will have a proper fight on our hands in Melbourne".

"The most adaptable and agile team will come out on top this season", Wolff said.

Facebook and Instagram Face Historic Outages
Some users were frustrated in attempts to sign into apps like Spotify and Tinder that require a Facebook login. Why Did the Outages Occur? The Verge tested Facebook's ad platform and found problems there, too.

Red Bull finished 236 points behind champion Mercedes last season, the team only winning four races across the year. "From what we have learned so far, this year will be even tougher", he added.

"We've got an exciting new partnership with Honda starting this weekend so it's off to a positive start, but we have to keep expectations realistic", he said at the F1 season launch in Melbourne on Wednesday.

"It is about who is able to adapt best to the new rules and the new tyres and all the challenges that we will have to master during the year".

In the first race of a new season, there will be plenty of attention on those drivers who have switched teams since previous year. But with the highly respected Binotto since replacing Arrivabene in the top job, and dynamic young Monegasque Charles Leclerc taking over from Kimi Raikkonen as Vettel's team-mate, the power dynamic in the paddock has shifted.
