Love Island's Mike Thalassitis Found Dead Aged 26

Muggy Mike appeared on this year's series of Celebs Go Dating

Love Island star Mike Thalassitis - otherwise known as "Muggy Mike" has died, his management have confirmed.

Sources claim the reality star was found dead in Essex yesterday.

Shocked fans took to Twitter to express their sadness at the news.

Mike, who appeared on Love Island 2017, was reportedly found near his home in Essex.

She added: "My heart and soul and love goes out to his friends & family".

Steven Watt, who was Mike's manager when he played for Margate, tweeted "Absolutely gutted, RIP mate".

The Love Island cast have been sharing their tributes to the late star.

Before his appearance on the ITV2 reality TV show, Mike was a League Two footballer. Online: "It's true. We've lost our dear brother Mike".

After his time on the show, he starred on Celebs Go Dating, and he remained a very popular star since his exit.

Mike's passing is the second tragic Love Island death, following Sophie Gradon's suicide a year ago.
