The report shows Greek employers as being quite optimistic about the next few months, with the total employment prospects index pointing to an increase of 21 percent, which would represent an 11-year peak.

"Employers in nearly all countries we surveyed globally report positive hiring outlooks for Q2, with most optimism in the U.S. and Japan", said ManpowerGroup Chairman and CEO Jonas Prising. "The UK Warehousing Association recently reported that three quarters of UK warehouse owners say their space is full to capacity and storage costs have soared by up to 25 percent in the past three months - suggesting that many are more concerned about having somewhere to put their goods rather than the need to move them around". Employers in Professional & Business Services have a +23% employment Outlook fueled by growing demand for knowledge workers with the right balance of human strengths including communication and collaboration and technical capabilities from coding to data analytics.

Western Canada had the lowest job outlook at seven per cent compared to Ontario, Quebec and Eastern Canada.

"It was reported by Statistics SA at the end of 2018 that the largest employment increases were recorded in Gauteng, Free State and the Western Cape - and the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey statistics would predict that this trend is set to continue", says van den Barselaar.
