Mueller, in USA court filing, says multiple probes continue

Rick Gates a former top official in Trump's campaign leaves the Federal courthouse with lawyer Tom Green in Washington D.C

Rick Gates, former campaign aide to U.S. President Donald Trump, departs after a bond hearing at U.S. District Court in Washington, U.S., December 11, 2017.

While many are wondering just when Special Counsel Robert Mueller will finally be ready to wrap up his investigation, he has announced that former Trump campaign deputy chairman Gates is not ready to be sentenced.

"Gates continues to cooperate with respect to several ongoing investigations, and accordingly the parties do not believe it is appropriate to commence the sentencing process at this time", Mueller's team said in the court filing.

In a series of tweets, the president said newly disclosed congressional testimony of fired FBI agent Peter Strzok "is devastating" for its revelations of anti-Trump sentiment among FBI employees who handled the Hillary Clinton email server probe, and for exposing bias in launching the Russian Federation investigation that was assigned to Mr. Mueller.

Kareem Jackson agrees to deal with Broncos
He eventually agreed to a one-year deal with the Houston Texans according to Mike Klis of 9News in Denver. Roby, who will turn 27 in May, found himself mostly playing at nickel cornerback on the Broncos defense.

Gates pleaded guilty previous year to conspiracy and false statement charges related to Ukrainian lobbying and political consulting he carried out with former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Gates was a star witness in that case and testified against Manafort, who was sentenced by two judges to serve a total of 7.5 years in prison for financial fraud.

That comes nearly exactly 24 hours after the U.S. House of Representatives in an incredibly rare unanimous act of bipartisanship, voted 420-0 to demand the Dept. of Justice publicly release the full Mueller report, with the exception of any classified information. Trump has said there was no collusion between his campaign and Moscow, and has characterized the Mueller probe as a "witch hunt".
