Royal baby birth imminent? Meghan Markle ‘starts maternity leave’

Meghan has carried out last public engagement before baby arrives

The Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge made headlines earlier this week for showing what some deemed major PDA, with Kate Middleton giving Meghan Markle a kiss on both cheeks on Monday at the Commonwealth Day service held at Westminster Abbey. The Queen has issued an approval to have Meghan and Harry to have a new base at Buckingham Palace, thus splitting up their household from the Cambridges. "The Household, which will be created with the support of The Queen and The Prince of Wales, will be established in the spring". As William is set to one day take the throne and become king, it was always planned for him and Kate to have their own household, separate from Harry, who has moved down to number six in the line of succession.

The Duchess of Sussex has carried out her last official public engagement before the arrival of her baby.

Fans are also betting the baby will be named after Harry's mother.

Fans are predicting the royal bub will arrive at the end of April, as Meghan's sister-in-law, Kate, had her final engagement on March 22 a year ago before going on maternity leave.

And on Thursday, Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace outlined concrete plans to establish separate royal households for the brothers.

"I think a lot of people are going to say "you know, I think this woman is a bit of a hypocrite here" and she is probably - on the balance of probabilities - and not all that easy to work for".

She added: "And what I'm told through my sources at the palace, that each of them has their own niche".
