Sancho will be at Dortmund next season, insists Zorc

Manchester United 'ready to move for Jadon Sancho'

He managed 12 appearances in his first season at Dortmund, but has since grown into a key player having played 1718 minutes of football during the current campaign.

Cape Town - Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has flatly rejected claims that Jadon Sancho will be sold to Manchester United, by suggesting they "could not afford" to sign the winger.

The same article says that Manchester United's priority this summer is signing a new right winger, and Sancho seems to fit the bill.

He told German magazine Sport Bild: "Jadon will play for Borussia Dortmund next season".

Titans acquire Tannehill from Dolphins
He has rarely stayed healthy, and the Titans struggled last season with Blaine Gabbert at quarterback when Mariota was out. The Dolphins are receiving a seventh-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and a 2020 fourth-round pick.

United are said to be plotting an £80m move for Sancho at the end of the season, whilst the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City are also reportedly interested in the Dortmund starlet, who has racked up nine goals and 15 assists in all competitions this season.

"I'm far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I will say that, even for the biggest club in the world, his transfer would be hard right now", Zorc told Sport Bild . "We're definitely planning with him".

But Zorc stressed that Sancho will not be leaving Dortmund in the summer and indicated that top European clubs will struggle to match the money they could demand for the teenage sensation. The club believes Sancho's rapid development in Germany will persuade the youngster to extend his stay in the Bundesliga for a further season, before returning to a leading Premier League club. "Mario was handicapped for a long time due to his metabolic problems and we gave him the time to come back".
