YG ends contract with BIGBANG's Seungri in wake of scandal

Seungri has been booked for procuring prostitutes for VIP customers of his Burning Sun club

K-Pop's Seungri and Jung Joon Young have both stepped down from the industry.

Jung also reportedly shared photographs and videos of women who were unconscious, and also footage of body parts of waitresses in hostess bars.

A second K-pop star has dramatically quit the music business, in a growing industry sex scandal.

The reason? A prostitution scandal that has gotten so "big", it has become too hard to handle.

In a post on his personal Instagram account, he revealed: "As this scandal is too big, I have chose to retire". "I cannot tolerate myself to live alone and to avoid everyone around me".

Popular K pop singer Jung Joon Young has admitted that he had allegedly filmed and shared some intimate videos of women without their consent.

It came after South Korean broadcaster SBS reported allegations that he had filmed his own sex videos without his partners' permission, and shared them with friends in a mobile chat group during 2015-16.

Spotify files European Union complaint against Apple's 'anticompetitive' App Store rules
All Spotify wants, says its founder, is to be treated the same as apps that don't pay the 30% tax such as Uber or Deliveroo. That is the 30% of monthly subscription fees that Apple takes on subscriptions made through its payment system.

Other reports indicated that 10 women were secretly filmed.

It is unclear if the charges will have any effect on Seungri's upcoming military enlistment, which is scheduled to begin on Mar 25.

"We would like to extend our deepest apologies for causing so much worry to fans and the public regarding the case of violence that occured at the club managed by Seungri and the subsequent development of events", YG said.

"It was something that he uploaded himself without consulting YG Entertainment first", AllKPop quoted a YG statement as saying.

The management agency YG Entertainment of BIGBANG announced on Wednesday that they have ended contract with Seungri.

"On top of his singing career, he somehow mastered Japanese and Chinese, which made him a useful member whenever Big Bang visited those countries".

On March 13, Chinese media outlet Sina released an interview with Joey Jung. More than anything, I kneel and apologize to the women who appear in the videos who have learned of this ugly truth as the incident has come to light, and to the many people who must be angry at the situation over which they can not contain their disappointment and astonishment.
