Apple will break up iTunes into multiple apps in next macOS release

Apple Reportedly Bringing Apple Music, Apple TV Apps to the Mac

Sources suggest that the Music app would be primarily focused on offering a home for the Apple Music service, separate from the increasingly outdated and unpopular umbrella application.

Guilherme Rambo at 9To5Mac says he's been able to independently confirm the rumor. So if you use the Music, TV, or Podcasts app on your iPad, that's essentially what you can expect on your Mac come later this year. Naturally, the TV app will be dedicated toward running Apple's upcoming Apple TV Plus service, and the Podcasts app will be for, well, podcasts. Previously, Apple's podcast page UI took after the old iTunes design.

iTunes will be broken up and turned into separate Music, TV, and Podcasts apps when the next version of MacOS is released, according to The Verge.

PM rival Gantz congratulates Netanyahu after final results
Former Finance Minister Yair Lapid, who co-led Blue and White, vowed to "make life bitter for the Netanyahu government". And he won despite expectations that his own attorney general will indict him for alleged bribery and fraud.

Let's face it: I hate iTunes, you hate iTunes. Marzipan is Apple's initiative to bring iOS apps and functionality to macOS using parts of the official iOS app framework UIKit.

Thoughts about the new Apple Podcasts web interface? There will be a major redesign on the Books app, in which it is said to slightly resemble the Apple News app as it will have a sidebar and a narrower title bar for its different tabs.

Apple is reportedly preparing to break up iTunes, the brand's all-in-one media player, music, and podcast player. After all, the notion of opening up iTunes and then - as a quick example - sifting through an avalanche of content in order to find the most recent episode of your favorite content has long felt antiquated. This would essentially mean the long-awaited breaking-up of the iTunes app, and perhaps the first step toward ending file-based media at Apple altogether - far, far down the road, obviously. Have you tried them on your Mac?
