Facebook Messenger dark mode now rolling out worldwide

iOS 13 to Reportedly Include Dark Mode, Multitasking Improvements

Dark Mode. A system-wide Dark Mode will be configurable in Settings, and it will come in a high-contrast version similar to how it works today in macOS.

iPad apps are getting multiple windows, the report claims.

Undo gesture. A new system gesture will formalize Undo across all apps that use a keyboard. Both iOS and Android are working in a deep implementation of a Dark Mode over its UI, and now some third-party app makers are also working in a way to deliver a better eye-and-AMOLED-friendly experience for its users, that's case of the folks at Facebook, that for quite some time have been working a dark mode implementation for their infamous Messenger. Each one will contain sheets that are initially attached to one portion of the screen, but can be detached with a drag gesture, then becoming a card that can be moved around at will. You might be able to drag these around the screen, stack them on top of each other or display them side by side. You can fling them away to dismiss.

Also on the agenda for iOS 13: new multitasking features for iPad, an improved Mail app, and a new "undo" gesture. The browser will automatically ask to render the desktop version of a website instead of its iPhone version. The new system will notify you when you're opening a document that has missing fonts.

Trump 'celebrating' tax day in Minnesota
But history would appear to be against him: Minnesota has not voted for a Republican for president since Richard Nixon in 1972. But so far, the tax cuts haven't delivered a major shot of financial adrenaline to most families.

The Mail app in iOS is going to get some functionality improvements with iOS 13.

Other additional gestures are expected to be introduced with iOS 13, such as allowing a selection of multiple items in table views and collection views. Developers will be able to use a different status bar style (light or dark) for each part of a Split View with side-by-side apps, while the Reminders app will be redesigned, alongside the volume HUD.

Apple will unveil iOS 13 on June 3rd, and release the first beta version in the weeks following the event.
