Wendy Williams 'not sure' how she's doing after divorce filing

According to TMZ, the television producer, who has been married to Hunter since 1997 and share one child, Kevin Hunter Jr., 19, filed the petition to divorce him in New Jersey on Thursday.

What do you think of the recent developments between Wendy Williams, Kevin Hunter, and Sharina Hudson?

And while much is known about the TV personality, who's been hosting her eponymous talkshow since 2008, the details surrounding the personal life of her soon-to-be ex-husband are a bit more vague.

"She is in a lot of pain, she is a real talent and I wish her nothing but compassion and love", Meghan McCain added. She opened up to fans back in March that she had been staying in a sober living facility to help get ahead of her addiction problems.

The 54-year-old talk show host has been married to Hunter - who executive produces her eponymously titled talk show, and with whom she has 18-year-old son Kevin Jr. - for 21 years, but it seems they've made a decision to call it quits as the pair have filed for divorce.

"Thank you to everyone for respecting the family's privacy during this time", a personal representative of Williams' said in a statement to EBONY.

Julian Assange Arrested In London
In a Twitter post, WikiLeaks said Ecuador "illegally terminated Assange's political asylum in violation of worldwide law". In 2006, Assange set up WikiLeaks that published classified documents on certain governments, including the US.

The daytime diva's divorce comes after 21 years of marriage - and a particularly trying time.

Hunter and Hudson have been alleged to be in a relationship for over 10 years. "Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together".

Meanwhile, Williams recently revealed that she was struggling with her addictions and was living in a sober house. "We respect their privacy regarding personal matters".

When an audience member asked Williams how she's doing during Friday morning's talk show, Williams responded, "I'm not sure".

Hunter did not return PEOPLE's request for comment.
