ITV axes Jeremy Kyle Show after death of participant

Jeremy Kyle

Dickinson's Real Deals was aired instead of the Jeremy Kyle Show at 09:30am on Monday (13 May) morning.

Let's take a closer look at how this unfortunate situation went down.

Steven appeared on the show alongside his fiancee Jane Callaghan and took a lie-detector test to determine if he had been unfaithful. Those efforts only worked against him in the end.

The pre-recorded episode Mr Dymond took part in was based on the subject of infidelity.

"He had gone on the show exclusively to clear his name but he said it had gone wrong because of the lie detector test".

What Allegedly Happened To Steve Dymond?

Following Thalassitis' death, ITV said that its "duty of care is a continuous and ongoing process for each (Love) Islander".

For all that, it's vital to remember that this is ultimately an exceptionally sad story of a troubled individual who was found dead in his flat. It's reported that he appeared to have died from an overdose of prescription medication, which he was taking for arthritis.

Dymond's death is to be the subject of an inquest that will be opened within the next few days. He was the most generous and loving person. Some of his posts also spoke to symptoms of emotional distress, as did his final texts to Callaghan.

'Game of Thrones' showrunners behind next 'Star Wars' film
If you're not happy with the way " Game of Thrones " is ending and you're a " Star Wars " fan, well, step away from the computer. As for Rian Johnson's new trilogy, there has been no confirmation as to when those films may be slated for release.

Jeremy Kyle's flagship talkshow has been cancelled but ITV said it will continue to work with him on other projects.

The confrontational talk show has been pulled off air indefinitely by ITV following the death of the guest, named by The Sun as 63-year-old Steve Dymond, a week after the programme was filmed.

United Kingdom broadcaster ITV has permanently cancelled The Jeremy Kyle Show after the death of a guest.

"ITV will not screen the episode in which they featured".

"Given the gravity of recent events we have made a decision to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show", Chief Executive Carolyn McCall said on Wednesday.

Jeremy returned to radio previous year with a weekly show on talkRADIO, but he presented his last show on March 30th 2019.

Tory MP Simon Hart, who also sits on the committee, described the Jeremy Kyle Show as "car-crash TV which revels in people's awful misfortune and sometimes their vulnerabilities". They were there when he needed help.

The mental health consequences of reality TV shows has been in the spotlight in Britain following the deaths of two contestants on hit show "Love Island". Both also died of suspected suicides.

Production of The Jeremy Kyle show has been ended, ITV has confirmed. It's clear that this story isn't finished yet.
