American Airlines CEO sees Boeing 737 MAX flying by mid-August

American Airlines operates 14 of the 737 MAX aircraft and is canceling 115 flights a day as a result of their

Knowing when the latest version of the 737 will fly again would help airlines contend with the disruption caused by the grounding of the narrow-body, Boeing's most popular model.

Shannon Airport expressed its disappointment at the news, which compounds the loss of Boeing 737 Max services operated by Air Canada. The FAA has said that there's no time frame to sign off on Boeing's proposed software fix for the jet.

Last week the director of Boeing, Dennis Muilenburg, had projected the return of the 737 MAX to the skies by the end of the year, according to the chain CNBC, and and Bahrami said Wednesday that the assessment was correct.

Customers should note that not all flights that had previously been scheduled on a 737 Max will be canceled as the airline works to substitute other aircraft types, while flights that had not been scheduled on the grounded aircraft may be scheduled as the airline shifts the aircraft that had been scheduled to fly to cover another route.

The crash was the second involving Boeing 737 MAX 8 within five months after a Lion Air plane crashed in Indonesia in October 2018.

Boeing is now working on the development of a modified version of this specific software model 737 MAX and hopes that the FAA and its foreign counterparts will again authorize them to fly again, which could happen in December, according to Bahrami.

Vivo Z5x may be rebranded as Vivo Z1 Pro for India
However, the company has not mentioned any specific date when the device would be launched but it is likely to happen soon. Just like the other Vivo smartphones, the Vivo Z1 Pro also sports glossy finish polycarbonate body with curved edges.

"We'd like to get it flying again so when customers get on it, they realize it's been flying potentially for weeks", said Ross Feinstein, a spokesman for American.

Boeing has cut its production rate for the model by 10 planes a month to 42.

Boeing on June 11 reported it had booked no new aircraft orders in May and had recorded a net total, after deducting cancellations, of 15 in the first five months of this year after the removal of 82 737 MAX orders as a result of contractual changes.

Boeing fell.66 percent to $347.03.

The revision is in line with American Airlines Group Inc's recent decision to extend MAX cancellations through September 3, from August 19 previously.
