Google Pixel 4 leaked schematics show square camera bump, missing fingerprint scanner

Here's the first look of Upcoming Google Pixel 4 Smartphone: Leak

This could mean a lot of different, and sometimes odd, possibilities. The project comes from Google's Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) in-house technology incubator and was introduced back in 2015.

At Google I/O in 2016, the company showed live demonstrations that were recorded on video. While the FCC approved a lower peak power limit than what Google was asking for, the agency gave the company a waiver that allows it to operate at higher power levels than it now allows.

Another departure from the existing design is the missing fingerprint sensor on the back.

As far as other Pixel 4 specs are concerned, Slashleaks notes that Google's next-gen smartphone will not include front-firing speakers or a physical fingerprint scanner.

Nizar Zakka: Iran frees detained Lebanese businessman
General Security confirmed Zakka's imminent return and said he was set to meet Lebanese President Michel Aoun at Baabda Palace. The potential release of Zakka, an internet freedom advocate, comes as tensions between Iran and the U.S. remain high.

What's particularly interesting here is the camera bump on the rear side of the device, a design that is quite similar to numerous iPhone 11 leaks we've seen so far. There isnt much we can report about the display front, though it would seem Google might opt for the Notch on the front, that remains to though.

Some have also suggested that the glossy finish on the renders lends itself to the Pixel 4 being glossy. And with the release date now less than 6 months away, we've started to see a steady stream of Pixel 4 leaks emerge over the past few weeks. After all, it is going to take some energy to run a radar-based gesture system that will always be on. Today there's rumor that the Google Pixel 4 will make use of Google's recently-FCC-approved Project Soli chip.

Google's promotional price of US$699 for the 64 GB variant and US$799 for the 128 GB model is good, but B&H has gone one better.
