Tit-for-tat: China ready to respond if U.S. escalates trade war
Washington has put Huawei on a blacklist that effectively bars US firms from selling to the company without government approval. They don't want to exactly say that, so they go out and try to buy the companies.

The Taiwanese firm's latest device also sports NFC, HTC's Sense UI atop Android Pie, and dual nano-SIM support.

According to HTC, the HTC U19e carries a price tag of TWD 14,900 (roughly Rs. 33,000) and it will be offered in Extraordinary Purple and Modest Green colours. There is no word on the worldwide availability of the new smartphones right now. While there is no 3.5mm audio jack, the device comes with HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi dual speakers with stereo surround sound effect. The 4/64GB model is set to cost TWD 9,990 ($318 or €280) while the 6/128GB variant will retail at TWD 10,990 ($350 or €310). Regardless of the chosen storage option, consumers will be able to buy the device in either Star Can Blue or Jasmine White. It's unclear if HTC has plans to launch it globally.
