The magazine estimated the 29-year-old singer's pretax income to be around $185 million-a 131% percent increase compared to the $80 million she reportedly raked in last year.

The list also saw football stars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar among the top 10, along with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and 1970s rockers The Eagles, who embarked on a new tour in 2018. Talk about power couples.

With $65 million (Rs 444 crore) in his kitty, Kumar is just $1 million less from Robert Downey Jr, who portrays everyone's favourite superhero Iron Man. Akshay Kumar has been working tirelessly and has given Bollywood some of the biggest hits in the past couple of years. Her brother-in-law Kanye West clocks in at No. 3, with earnings of $150 million past year. Such indicator managed to reach through world tour in support of her album Reputation, which was the most lucrative in USA history, bringing $mishpat 266: 1 million. Meanwhile, Travis Scott was one of the highest-paid celebrities to make their debut on this year's list, with earnings of $58 million.

No celebrity from the film fraternity made it to the top 10 with Dwayne Johnson becoming the first actor to be on the list at No. 15.

Despite a few highly publicized feuds this year, Taylor Swift is laughing all the way to the bank.

She was followed by two members of the Kardashian family - the queen of the makeup world and the half-sister to Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and the extended member, rapper/entrepreneur, Kanye West.

Social media and reality TV star Kylie Jenner is ranked second on the list with an estimated pre-tax pay packet of $170m (£136m).

However, actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have failed to secure a spot on the list this year. Ed Sheeran sits at number five thanks to his Divide Tour grossing US$600 million worldwide.
