A team of researchers from the US, Germany and France managed to teach an AI system to distinguish benign skin lesions from risky ones, reported The Guardian . Malignant melanoma accounts for 1 percent of all skin cancers but causes a majority of skin cancer-related deaths. Speaking to reporters, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said it was not clear whether the person was suffering from the Nipah disease or not and it would be clear after verification of the test results. He also ruled out the need to notify authorities about the patient's co-passengers. The results are likely by Tuesday evening.
