The study cannot say that being a flight attendant "causes" cancer; it can only make an observation that they seem linked. How can cancer risks be minimized in flight attendants? Though CBD doesn't induce the high associated with marijuana use-THC does that-it's now classified as Schedule I, a category that covers drugs with no therapeutic value and high probability of abuse. The FDA previously issued warnings to CBD producers that claimed their products could treat specific diseases, such as cancer or Alzheimer's. State officials say OH has 79 hepatitis A cases so far this year and that many of them are linked to a multi-state outbreak in neighboring states. Evidently, the cases confirmed in OH are actually linked to the outbreaks in nearby states, such as in MI, which has 843 confirmed cases; Kentucky, which has 761 confirmed cases; and West Virginia, which has 248 confirmed cases. In comparison, lifetime never drinkers and infrequent drinkers as well as heavy and very heavy drinkers had increased combined risk of mortality or developing cancer. The risk soars 20 per cent for very heavy drinkers who put away over three drinks a day. The study, of almost 100,000 older USA adults, found that lifelong light drinkers were somewhat less likely to die over the next nine years. (more...)
