China is planning to open its next space outpost to the world. The mother of all lizards that was discovered in Italian Alps belongs to the Megachirella family of creatures. The fossils alongside the CT scans and DNA evidence form the basis of this probe into squamates. Her name was Megachirella wachtleri . "I used this data set to perform the phylogenetic analysis presented in this study", explained Simoes. Originally, it had been misclassified as a different lizard relative. (more...)

A bear also broke out of its enclosure at the Eifel Zoo, near the borders with Luxembourg and Belgium, but it has been shot dead. People are urged to call police if they see the five predators, local media reports. It kept taking pictures until the very end. Ironically the damaged camera was the one he set up furthest from the launch pad, about a quarter of a mile away. Ingalls photos we were able to determine the location of the camera. The camera was at the top of a moderately steep brushy slope that, depending on the weather and the amount of fuel available, may have resulted in a fairly hot fire as it reached the camera. Although the federal government threw its weight behind the Trans Mountain expansion, it has not been very active in the B.C. Export Development Canada will finance the purchase, which includes the pipeline, pumping stations and rights of way along the route between Edmonton and Vancouver, as well as the marine terminal in Burnaby, B.C., where oil is loaded onto tankers for export. The researchers who performed the study also mentioned that the flakes of skin appeared like dandruff and seemed to have an irregular size, shape, and width. The images of this discovered dandruff captured by an electron microscope revealed that they are the same as found in some of the modern birds and just like the humans, the dinosaurs' flakes of skin also consist of rigid cells known as corneocytes and are rich in Keratin protein. It kept taking pictures until the very end. He had multiple cameras set up, and this one was actually the furthest from the launch pad. Once the fire reached the camera, it was quickly engulfed. The launch went off without a glitch, but a fire sparked by the launch destroyed a camera which belonged to NASA photographer Bill Ingalls.
